Bürserberg

With only 617 inhabitants, idyllic Bürserberg (871 m) is the smallest village in the Brandner Valley. Thanks to its sunny location in the middle of the valley and the Tschengla high plateau (1,250 m), Bürserberg is a paradise for relaxation and leisure activities. Whether on foot or on skis, there is a wonderful landscape to explore here. The high plateau offers a fantastic blend of natural romance and tradition with its panoramic view of five valleys, the monolithic stone circles on Bürserberg – presumed places of worship for our ancestors – frozen waterfalls and the Schausennerei on Alpe Rona. A special highlight in both summer and winter is Anton "Husky Toni" Kuttner, who offers young and old alike a very special experience with his 17 sled dogs.

Brandner Valley

Mountains, glaciers, forest, lakes and rivers are the main assets that characterise the panorama of the Brander Valley, which lies in southern Vorarlberg. The picturesque closure of the valley is formed by the Lünner lake at 1,979 m altitude - one of the prettiest mountain lakes with direct view on to the Schesaplana, the highest mountain of the Rätikon (2,965 m). For sports fans, the Brander Valley is a true paradise - be it for hiking, biking or skiing, ski touring or snowboarding.
