The Damüls Mellau region offers cross-country skiing enthusiasts a wide range of options in the midst of an impressive mountain world: Damüls has two high altitude cross-country ski trails with a total of 11 kilometres of sunshine, which are groomed daily. The trails are located at an altitude of 1,500 to 1,700 metres with a reliability of snow and offer both classic-style and skating-style trails.
Mellau offers around 23 kilometres of perfectly groomed and prepared cross-country ski trails for beginners and professionals, depending on the snow conditions. Together with the neighbouring communities, there are even 56 kilometres of trails available.
The network of trails is easily accessible by ski bus, which also enables excursions to the surrounding communities. All in all, the Damüls Mellau region offers ideal conditions for cross-country skiers of all abilities. This offer is complemented by wonderful winter hiking trails that ideally connect the cross-country trails.
