Ski holidays Feichten - wonderful mountain backdrop and glacier fun!
Feichten
The municipality of Kaunertal covers the entire area of the narrow rear valley and stretches along the valley road with several hamlets and farms. The main village is Feichten, at an altitude of 1,287 metres. This is the only inhabited part of the Kaunertal valley. In Feichten, you can enjoy unspoilt nature and, of course, the fantastic mountain scenery of the Kaunertal valley with its nearby glacier ski area. The village lift on the Erspenhang is ideal for those taking their first steps on skis. Tyrolean specialities and home-distilled schnapps await you in the numerous inns and restaurants. In addition to skiing and snowboarding, leisure activities include ice skating, ice climbing and tobogganing.Kauner Valley Glacier
The Kaunertal valley is located in the Austrian province of Tyrol. The valley, whose centrepiece and namesake is the Kaunergrat, is protected as a nature park. The Kaunergrat separates the two neighbouring valleys of Pitztal and Kaunertal and is part of the Ötztal Alps mountain range. The glacial landscape of the nature park region extends across all altitudes and offers an incredible variety of natural beauty and regional characteristics. The Kaunertal glacier ski area at the foot of the Weißseespitze (3,526 m) guarantees sports enthusiasts snow from autumn on the glacier to sunny skiing in late spring.Travel Feichten
