Ski holidays Finkenberg - the sporty relaxation village!
Finkenberg
The Tux Valley, arguably the most attractive high valley in the Tyrolean Zillertal, ranges from 630 m to 3,250 m and is therefore one of the most snow-sure regions in Austria. The charming villages of Finkenberg, Tux and Hintertux offer every holidaymaker exactly what they expect from a perfect winter holiday – immaculate landscapes covered in white, fantastic slopes and a holiday entertainment programme packed with activities. Among other things, Finkenberg is home to many important personalities – extreme mountaineer Prof. Peter Habeler, the Zillertaler Schürzenjäger band and Olympic champion Leonhard Stock. This sporty holiday village has something to offer everyone: here you will find peace and relaxation as well as excitement and adventure. Every day, 28 km of cross-country ski trails and 68 km of winter hiking trails are groomed. Numerous toboggan runs, a natural ice rink and, last but not least, the après-ski offerings make your holiday perfect. The Finkenberger Almbahn cable car provides direct access to the Mayerhofen-Hippach ski area, and in combination with its proximity to the Hintertux Glacier, the village is the ideal starting point for a successful skiing holiday!
Zillertal
The Zillertal – or, as it is secretly known, the "most active valley in the world" – lies in the heart of the popular province of Tyrol and borders South Tyrol to the south with the Zillertal Alps. The possibilities in this relatively flat valley seem endless: approx. 541 kilometres of pistes and guaranteed snow up to 3,250 metres – welcome to the Zillertal! The Zillertal Superskipass is valid for all kilometres of pistes in the Zillertal, Gerlos and Tuxertal valleys as well as on the Wildkogel. A free ski bus connects the valleys so that you can fully enjoy the variety of pistes.Travel Finkenberg
