Cross-country Gastein Valley - Ski amadé

All around the resorts Bad Gastein, Dorfgastein and Bad Hofgastein there are around 40 km of trails waiting to be explored. Golf greens and running tracks are turned into perfect beginners tracks with soft rises in winter, and the park grounds in Bad Hofgastein offers a bit of a sporty challenge. Also, the more snow-sure high altitude trail Sportgastein, usable way into the spring, or the picturesque track in the Bad Gastein Kötschach valley provide a great experience. Beginners and the curious can try themselves on Nordic Cruising in the Gastein valley. Shorter skis with wider footspace enable an easier glide and better climbing on non-prepared surfaces.
