Ski holidays Großarltal – Relaxation and skiing pleasure in the "alp valley"!

The picturesque Großarl Valley stretches across the southern part of the Salzburg region at the foothills of the Radstädter Tauern mountains. The landscape is characterised by numerous extensive alpine pastures, where many alpine huts are operated. This is why it has been given the nickname "Valley of the Alps". The southern end of the valley behind the municipality of Hüttschlag is formed by the Keeskogel, the largest mountain in the valley at 2,884 metres. Großarl lies in the middle of the 30-kilometre-long high valley, where the entrance to the Großarltal-Dorfgastein ski area is located. The lifts provide access to approx. 70 kilometres of slopes (including ski routes) on both sides of the Fulseck (2,033 m), from where you can enjoy fantastic panoramic views of the Großglockner and Dachstein mountains. One thing is certain: winter sports in the Großarltal valley against the mountain backdrop of the Hohe Tauern National Park are a real treat!

Großarl
