The Kaiserwinkl region is unrivalled when it comes to cross-country skiing: the network of trails around Walchsee, Kösse, Rettenschöss and Schwendt comprises around 240 km of cross-country and skating trails, which are groomed and prepared daily and have been awarded the Tyrolean seal of quality. With views of the Wilder Kaiser and the Chiemgau Alps, you can glide along the well-maintained trails, which are considered among the "Tyrolean cross-country skiing specialists" thanks to their high quality. Highlights include the Nordic centres in Kössen and Walchsee, as well as the Kaiserwinkl trail, which connects Kössen, Walchsee and Schwendt.
