Cross-country Mariapfarr

The cross-country skiing centre Mariapfarr-Lignitztal belongs to the cross-country skiing network of the Salzburger Lungau, which offers around 150 km of cross-country and skating trails. Mariapfarr has about 6 km of these tracks, which can be covered with technical snow. The trail in the cross-country skiing centre Lignitztal is the only snow-covered high-altitude trail in the Lungau region and is suitable for effective high-altitude training at airy altitudes of 1,330 m to 1,400 m. Classic running and skating style are possible here. The circuit is located in the Lignitz district and also offers access to the panoramic cross-country trail. A section of about 800 m is illuminated daily into the evening hours. A free bus shuttle takes guests to the entrance to the cross-country ski run.

Anyone who has always wanted to try out the biathlon has the opportunity in Mariapfarr to take part in the laser biathlon for everyone. Several times a week shooting trainings are offered in the cross-country skiing centre.
