In the middle of Tyrol lies the resort Mieming on a sunny plateau, at 864 m altitude. To the foot of the plateau runs the Upper Inn Valley, flanked by the peaks of the Mieming Mountains, a neighbouring massif of the famous Wetterstein massif. Thanks to the sunny location and limited "Fön" (warm air) influence, Mieming benefits from a mild, yet fresh and therefore perfect climate for winter sports. The region also is often referred to as the sun plateau. In resort, there are a number of old farm houses and stately churches under protection, which indicate the long history and old traditions that this village can look back on. The approx. 3,500 inhabitants maintain the originality of this lifestyle, which every visitor can experience here.

The district of Imst is located in the Austrian province of Tyrol. The Upper Inn Valley, Ötz Valley and Gurgl Valley are some of the most popular holiday regions in the district of Imst, which is divided into 24 municipalities. Imst offers a wide range of outdoor activities for all age groups in both summer and winter. With the "Hoch-Imst" lift pass, you can explore a total of 9 kilometres of pistes. If you don't want to miss out on more skiing fun, you can quickly and easily reach the neighbouring areas of Ötztal, Pitztaler Glacier and Zams.
