Ski holidays Pichl - small resort, huge diversity!
Pichl
Embedded in one fascinating mountain landscape - between the south flanks of the Dachstein and the Schladminger Tauern - and surrounded by idyllic mountain lakes, lies the holiday district of Pichl-Reiteralm (765 m), only a few kilometres from Schladming. Due to its central location this is the perfect place for winter sports fans - no matter if in winter or summer. Especially winter sports fans will benefit from the direct proximity to the ski areas, with the local ski area Reiteralm, which is directly connected to the massive area union Ski amadé. The Family-friendly ski areas are also close-by, such as the Fageralm or the Schneebärenland (kid's area). With only approx. 900 inhabitants, Pichl is the smallest resort in the entire Dachstein area and there is still considered in insider's recommendation, away from the hustle and bustle of the large resorts.Schladming-Dachstein - Ski amadé
The popular and picturesque holiday region of Schladming-Dachstein is located in the north-west of Styria and offers fascinating views of the mountain panorama of the Ski amadé ski association. Numerous cosy villages are clustered around attractive ski areas that offer plenty of variety. Families with children in particular are in good hands here and will find great offers that promise a wonderful holiday. Winter sports enthusiasts are sure to love the varied slopes, FIS and World Cup runs, fun parks and freeride areas. In 1999, the Nordic World Ski Championships were held in the region – no wonder, given the excellent range of cross-country trails covering a total of 714 km. After an active day in the snow, you can finally get to know and love the typical Styrian cosiness in many rustic inns and bars.Travel Pichl
