Ski area Kellerjoch

The Kellerjoch ski area is located around 9 kilometres from Pill. Skiers and snowboarders can reach the pistes via the Arzberg double chairlift. A total of 14 kilometres of piste stretch between 1,350 m and 1,900 m above sea level. In addition to the chair lift, there are two t-bar lifts. The Kellerjoch is suitable for winter sports enthusiasts of all abilities and is particularly popular with families, as the pistes are mostly easy to moderately difficult.

For experienced skiers and snowboarders, the ski area offers some wide and well groomed pistes, while the black descent from the Hecherhaus is a challenge for those who want more. There is also a ski route (1 km), which is also suitable for all skill levels. There is also the Grafenast children's area, where the little ones can learn to ski in a playful way on two magic carpets on a gentle sunny slope.

The Kellerjoch (2,344 m) offers nature lovers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. Snow cannons make snow on approx. 30% of the pistes, ensuring that winter sports enthusiasts get their money's worth even when there is little snow.

Après ski Kellerjoch

If you are looking for a lively après-ski party, you should head to the neighbouring villages in the Zillertal valley. Whether in Fügen, Kaltenbach or Mayrhofen – you are sure to find a party or two here. In Pill and Schwaz itself, on the other hand, things are much more relaxed.

The historic Kreuzkirchl pilgrimage church and the parish church of St. Anna in the village are well worth seeing. The cultural town of Schwaz is also worth a visit. There, ski guests can discover monuments and museums, stroll through the historic old town and marvel at the buildings from the heyday of silver mining. Innsbruck also offers great shopping opportunities and a wide range of cultural activities. The capital of Tyrol is only 28 kilometres away and is easily accessible by motorway or train.

Charming inns in the village and on the surrounding alpine pastures cater to your physical well-being. Especially in the run-up to Christmas, events such as the Advent bazaar or the traditional Advent stick shooting round off the off-piste activities. If you still haven't had enough of the snow after a day on the slopes, you should definitely try the natural toboggan run on the Kellerjoch. The run is suitable for young and old alike and can be easily reached with the ski area's double chairlift.
