Beginners usually try their hand at the tree-free, open pistes on the ridge lift and the summit lift. However, the manageable area also has plenty to offer experts and demanding skiers with interesting pistes, wonderful deep snow runs and a fun park. The 5-kilometre-long Heimalm-Rauris descent to the valley is particularly recommended for experts. Great fun for all skill levels is also offered by a 700 m long funslope with steep turns, waves, kickers and a snail as well as the 10 km long descent from the mountain station of the Gipfelbahn via Kreuzboden to Rauris, which covers an altitude difference of 1,235 m.
The race track at the Hochalmbahn is perfect for speed fanatics. With automatic timing, you can experience your own personal speed rush.
With the upgrade to the "Super Ski Card" ski pass, you even have the choice of over 2,840 kilometres of piste and 946 lift systems in 23 ski regions!
Après ski Rauriser Hochalmbahnen - Rauris
In the evening, there are various options to choose from: a must for après ski fans is the "Heimalm", which attracts visitors with a 20 metre long, heated bar and delicious drinks. The "Maislaualm" bar at the Hochalmbahn valley station also has a cosy après ski atmosphere. Those who prefer to spend a quiet evening with good food have the opportunity to do so in the various mountain restaurants, inns and mountain huts.
Snowpark Rauriser Hochalmbahnen - Rauris: Snowpark Nuggetpark
Away from mass tourism, the Hochalm ski area in Salzburger Land offers everything a winter sports enthusiast's heart desires. However, you don't describe yourself as a "simple" winter sports enthusiast, but as a freestyler? Then the Rauris Valley is always a good choice! Right next to the Kreuzbodenhütte, the two 500 metre long lines of the Nuggetpark leave nothing to be desired and attract both beginners and pros. Boxes, rails, kickers and ski jumps are groomed daily.
In addition to the snowpark, there is also a funslope. It doesn't matter whether you are an absolute beginner or an advanced skier, because the 700 metre long funslope is mainly there to have fun while riding over waves and kickers, among other things.
