The cross-country skiing area in the Glemmtal valley around the well-known ski resorts of Saalbach and Hinterglemm is manageable at 10 km, but quite varied with a high-altitude trail and a long valley trail. In the neighbouring valley, the biathlon stronghold of Saalfelden Leogang offers another attractive range of trails with 150 km of trails, which also connects to the approximately 80 km network of trails in the Saalachtal valley. Fieberbunn extends the range by a further 20 km of trails.
