Cross-country Vorderland-Feldkirch

The Schneeloch in Vorarlberg offers an Eldorado for cross-country skiers with a trail network of around 100 km. Of these, over 20 km are designed for skating, around 20 km are illuminated for evening runs and over 30 km are high-altitude trails with great views and wonderfully suitable for fitness training.

From the Kristberg to the Silvretta Montafon and Gargelen to Golm, the Montafon offers not only many great skiing areas, but also wonderful valley bottoms and wide alpine pastures for extended cross-country skiing tours. The tracks take you through the valleys, along streams, around the Silvretta Lake and even as far as St. Anton am Arlberg. The high-altitude trail on the Bielerhöhe at over 2,000 m is the highest trail in the entire Montafon. Again and again you are rewarded with fantastic panoramic views over the peaks of Piz Buin (3,312 m) and Co.
