La Toussuire (Les Sybelles)

People have been skiing in La Toussuire at an altitude of 1,750 m since 1937. The modern and now completely car-free ski resort was built in the 1960s and has been an integral part of the Les Sybelles mega ski area ever since. When building the apartment buildings, the architects made sure that they were close to the slopes so that holiday guests can strap on their skis right at the front door and set off on the first runs of the day. Thanks to its unique location on a high plateau, the village, which has just over 480 inhabitants outside the tourist season, offers guests plenty of hours of sunshine as well as a fantastic panoramic view of the mountain peaks of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region.

Les Sybelles

The sunny Les Sybelles ski region in the heart of Savoy comprises a variety of different locations and several small hamlets. Located at the Col de la Croix de Fer (2,067 m), it is an impressive winter sports region. From idyllic mountain villages to modern ski resorts, Les Sybelles has something for everyone. A wide range of family-friendly activities and a varied programme have earned part of the ski region the "Family Plus" seal of quality. But the region also has plenty to offer away from the slopes. In addition to a wide range of winter hiking trails and cross-country skiing opportunities, the mountains can also be explored by dog sled or snowshoes. Furthermore, numerous restaurants and huts are ready to spoil their holiday guests with typical Savoyard specialities.
