Ski area Megève/Saint-Gervais

With around 185 kilometres of slopes, the Megève ski area is the largest in the "Evasion Mont-Blanc" ski region, which offers a total of 390 kilometres of slopes in the areas of Megève, Saint Gervais, Les Contamines and Les Portes du Mont-Blanc. Winter sports enthusiasts will find a very diverse area here, where, incidentally, a French skiing star grew up: Émile Allais, bronze medallist at the 1936 Winter Olympics in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. He is one of Megève's most famous sons and the slope of the same name is still dedicated to him today. The ski region offers mainly relaxing runs on wide slopes. The forest passages on Mont d'Arboise and the slopes at Rochebrune are particularly attractive. On cold days, the slopes on the southern slopes of Jaillet are very popular.

Experienced skiers will also find plenty to enjoy in the region around Megève. For example, they will find challenges on the Super Megève and on the slopes of Èpaule. You will also find particularly varied terrain above Les Contamines at Col du Joly. You can create your own ski video on the ski movie trail at Waidzai Park.

Numerous options for freeriders can be found on Mont Joux, at Crève-Coeur and at Rochebrune. Four snow parks will delight the freestylers among you.

There are also two ski touring trails. The first, "Rando Roche", offers a 3.8 km long route with an altitude difference of up to 700 m. The second trail, "Rand `Arbois", covers 3.65 km with an elevation gain of 540 m.

Après ski Megève/Saint-Gervais

Après ski in Megève has less to do with hit songs and schnapps and more to do with enjoying a drink in a stylish atmosphere in the evening. To this end, there are not only several bars such as La Sauvageonne or the Cocoon Club to choose from, but also the Palo Alto discotheque and a casino. There is also a large selection of top restaurants that will spoil you with regional and international specialities. Megève is famous for its nightlife. In the high season, you can also meet Parisian high society here.

The leisure activities on offer in Megève are just as exceptional as the atmosphere of the village. The village is internationally renowned for its snow polo and snow golf events. The local ski school offers taster courses in biathlon and dog sledding is also possible. The Savoyard village also scores highly in terms of classic-style activities. Whether swimming or taking a sauna, ice skating (indoor and outdoor) or curling, snowshoeing or tobogganing - you're guaranteed not to get bored here! For relaxation, you can visit one of the many spas.

It's also worth visiting the village's local museum, the Musée du Haut Val d'Arly.

Snowpark Megève/Saint-Gervais: Waidzai Park snow park

Freestylers will find four snow parks in the ski resorts around Megève. Waidzai Park is located at Rochebrune above the village itself, right next to the Grands-Champs lift. Here, you can not only let off steam on ten different obstacles, but also have yourself filmed doing so! The park also features a boardercross course.

The second fun park is located between the two Mont-Joux chairlifts. Here you will find various kickers, rails, tubes and boxes, as well as an airbag for those who prefer to practise daring jumps with a soft landing first.

The third snow park in Combloux consists of two parks. The first is located next to the Le Jaillet mountain station and the other at the Plaine joux platter lift.

The fourth snow park in La Giettaz is ideal for beginners and is located at the Le Torraz summit.
