The Val d'Arly, located on the border between Savoy and Haute-Savoie, is a picturesque valley offering wonderful views of the Chaîne des Aravis, the Beaufortain massif and the Bauges. The region, adorned with numerous churches and chapels, was once one of the venues for the Albertville Olympic Games. With 185 kilometres of pistes, the Espace Diamant ski area offers a wide range of options for skiers of all levels.

The Val d'Arly is particularly appreciated by its inhabitants for its unusual climate: thanks to its wonderful location, there is no fog here, but plenty of snow and many sunny days. The valley is also known for its cheese production, which was and still is an important source of income for the population. Tradition is very important here and guests enjoy the convivial and warm atmosphere of this rustic Alpine region.
