Ski holidays Fischen im Allgäu - winter fun for the whole family!

Fischen im Allgäu

The spa town of Fischen is located in the Allgäu Alps at an altitude of 761 metres, about 6.5 kilometres from Oberstdorf. This cosy place with its village charm is particularly suitable for families: the manageable local ski slope is just right for little ones, with a separate children's area and magic carpet to help them get used to the skis and lifts. Another fun activity is tobogganing on the ‘Kleiner Stinesser’, the 200 m long natural toboggan run in Fischen. On a guided snowshoe hike, you can enjoy the beautiful landscape to the fullest and leave everyday life behind. The hiking trails are just the thing for nature lovers. An absolute highlight here are the two high-altitude hiking trails at 1,500 m, which offer you an unforgettable view of the surrounding mountains – don't miss it! In addition to snow fun, Fischen offers numerous other entertainment options: in Fischen's sports park, you can play tennis or squash and go karting. The Fischinger FIS Ski Museum is also worth a visit.

Oberstdorf (Oberallgäu)

Whether with family, friends or even alone, the Oberstdorf & Kleinwalsertal ski region is worth a visit for everyone. 44 lifts and lifts take you up to an altitude of 2,224 m in Germany's largest ski area, where you will find 130 kilometres of slopes (including ski routes) with the best alpine conditions. The range of runs extends from wide slopes for leisurely carving to challenging off-piste runs with deep snow for experts. And all this on four mountains in two countries – because the Fellhorn/Kanzelwand ski area straddles the border between Germany and Austria! But there are also numerous activities besides skiing, such as a relaxing day at the leisure pool, a dog sled ride or a snowshoe hike through the fascinating nature of the Kleinwalsertal valley.
