The holiday region of St. Englmar is also a true Eldorado for cross-country skiers. There is a network of trails certified by the German Sport University Cologne and the German Ski Association totalling 74 km in length, at an altitude of 750 - 1,050 m, with 8 trails of varying difficulty. The starting point of the Hirschenstein trail is St. Englmar.
