Cross-country Oberharmersbach

Kniebis, above Freudenstadt, is considered the cross-country skiing mecca of the Black Forest, with over 70 km of trails. Fourteen groomed trails ranging from 2.3 to 10.6 km in length offer ideal opportunities for beginners and experienced cross-country skiers alike to burn off some energy. The "Kienberg-Spur", a 6.3 km circular route around the village, offers a beautiful trail with a magnificent view over the town. There is even a night-time cross-country ski trail in Kniebis. The 2.3 km circular route is illuminated until 22:00.

Thanks to the Northern Black Forest ski hiking trail, there is a network of cross-country trails covering approx. 120 km around Freudenstadt and its districts. The trails pass Freudenstadt and Kniebis, creating a wonderful connection to a huge network of trails via the Black Forest High Road.
