Ski holidays Ramsau - in the heart of the Berchtesgaden National Park!

Ramsau

The idyllic mountain village of Ramsau is located at an altitude of approx. 670 m in the beautiful Berchtesgaden National Park. The impressive mountain landscape of the Watzmann and the Königssee at its foot captivates visitors in every season. The impressive surroundings can be enjoyed particularly well on a leisurely winter hike or a horse-drawn sleigh ride. Stroll through the tranquil village centre, past the world-famous parish church of St. Sebastian, built in 1512, and indulge in typical Bavarian cuisine in the local inns. There are two areas for winter sports enthusiasts: the family-friendly Hochschwarzeck ski resort is ideal for skiers and snowboarders as well as tobogganists and cross-country skiers. On the Hintersee lake, ice sports enthusiasts can let off steam with ice skating, ice hockey or curling. Those who want a day of relaxation can unwind at the Watzmann Therme spa in Berchtesgaden, about 9 km away.

Berchtesgadener Land

The romantic Berchtesgadener Land region lies before the impressive panorama of the 2,713-metre-high Watzmann massif in Berchtesgaden National Park. Surrounded by a mountain range ranging from 2,000 to 2,700 metres in height, this Upper Bavarian region offers peace and tranquillity. The Berchtesgadener Land has five separate ski areas, which are combined in the lift pass of the same name. With around 40 kilometres of slopes between 795 and 1,554 metres above sea level and 22 lifts, the best skiing fun is guaranteed. The Berchtesgadener Land is internationally renowned for its World Cup-standard downhill runs and as a venue for world championships in luge, bobsleigh and snowboarding.

From the 24/25 season onwards, however, there will no longer be any groomed slopes available on the Jenner. Nevertheless, the ride on the modernised Jennerbahn cable car is still included in the lift pass. In addition, you can use the new, approx. 1.4-kilometre-long toboggan run from the mountain station, explore the surrounding area on the snowshoe trail to the "Vorderen Pfaffenkegel" or try out the groomed winter hiking trail around the Speicherweiher pond.
