In Nesselwang, cross-country skiers will find four well-maintained cross-country trails of varying difficulty for classic-style cross-country skiing and sporty skating-style skiing. The trails are groomed daily and the routes through forests, across meadows and past the frozen Grüntensee lake promise a special nature experience.
The Grüntensee loop is the longest tour at 10 km and is classified as moderately difficult with an altitude difference of 90 metres. The floodlit trail at the trend sports centre is also marked in red. However, it is a manageable 1.6 km long. This trail is floodlit twice a week in the evening for cross-country skiing. The start of the Kappeler circuit is also at the Trendsportzentrum Allgäu. The easy circuit is 4 km long and offers the opportunity to try out the sport of biathlon at the shooting range. The Kappeler and Grüntensee circuits are also groomed for the skating-style technique.
