Cross-country Castione della Presolana

Cross-country skiing is possible on well-prepared tracks in several resorts within the valleys of Seriana and Scalve. From Castione, the nearest access to the trails is in the resort Clusone. Trails with a length between 2 km and 5 km are prepared in the natural snow. A cross-country ski school as well as an equipment hire shop can also be found in Clusone. Further trails at various lengths and infrastructure are located in Valbondione, Gromo, Anore, Gandino and Oltre il Colle.

One of the most well-known Nordic skiing centres is in Schilpario in the Scalve valley. The trail there leads through a picturesque pine forest. It is 10 km long, and a part of 7.5 km is used in competitions where professional races are held.
