Ski area Monte Bondone
The popular Monte Bondone (1,189 - 2,090 m) is transformed into an enchanting ski area every winter. The impressive 360° panorama over the Trentino mountains, the Brenta Dolomites and the mountains of the Val di Fassa make the heart of every winter sports enthusiast beat faster. Varied descents offer plenty of fun on the slopes for beginners and advanced skiers alike. Those looking for a challenge will get their money's worth on the 3.5 km long "Gran Pista" descent with an approx. 800 m difference in altitude. This piste has already been voted the most beautiful descent in Trentino twice! Snowboarders and skiers can more than get their fill in the snow park with its boardercross track and several jumps.
If you haven't had enough during the day in the ski area, you can conquer the pistes in the evening under floodlights. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, floodlit pistes are available for this purpose.
Rules of conduct on ski pistes in Italy
To use the ski areas, you must have valid liability insurance that covers damage or injury to third parties. This can also be taken out on site for individual days. Skiing while intoxicated (0.5 per mille or higher BAC) is prohibited and is punishable by heavy fines. To reduce the risk of injury, wearing a helmet is compulsory for everyone (regardless of age, on all ski runs, in snow parks and on toboggan runs). Anyone who does not comply with the helmet requirement will be fined or banned from the slopes.Night skiing Monte Bondone
Like many ski areas in Italy, there are also several regions in Trentino that offer popular night skiing. This is also the case in Monte Bondone, where there is an attractive night skiing area in the high season from January to approx. mid-March. Under the motto "Monte Bondone Night & Day", night skiing takes place twice a week on the Montesel 6-seater chair lift. Several of the descents are floodlit: The blue pistes "Diagonale Montesel" and "Cordela" as well as the slightly more challenging red "Lavaman" add up to around 5.5 kilometres of downhill skiing. The latter piste is also home to the 600-metre-long snow park, which is floodlit with its kickers and SuperPipe, inviting freestylers to shred at night. The night skiing offer in Monte Bondone can rightly be described as extensive and attractive. Special evening lift passes can be purchased for night skiing.Après ski Monte Bondone
Trento, the capital of Trentino, is only approx. 15 km away. Its historic city centre, various museums and shopping opportunities invite you to enjoy an eventful excursion. The town is also perfect for anyone looking for a lively après ski!
Snowpark Monte Bondone: Snow park
In Monte Bondone, a versatile snow park awaits, creating ideal conditions for freestyle fans at an altitude of 1,460 to 1,600 metres. A separate area allows children and teenagers to try their hand at their first obstacles, while a snowcross course, rail and jump lines as well as obstacles such as woops, parabolics and slopes provide sporting variety.
The snow park is easily accessible via the Lavaman and Cordela pistes and comprises five lines: a beginner line with simple box structures, a beginner line with boxes and rails, a jump line with three kickers in small and medium, a technically challenging course line with several rails and a slopestyle line with three large jumps and other features for training or contests.
