Around 60 km stretch through the picturesque Wipptal valley and its side valleys. The largest connected network in the region is in Ratschings. Here, around 28 km of trails run through the valley and at lofty heights with fantastic panoramic views. An insider tip for experienced Nordic athletes is the Ridnauntal valley with its modern cross-country skiing and biathlon centre in Ridnaun. In the wide valley basin around Sterzing, there are another 23 km of trails. The highlight here is the particularly long, flat valley trail, which is over 20 km long.

Whether across wide meadows and small bridges, along rivers and through sections of forest – in the Wipptal valley you can enjoy a variety of cross-country skiing experiences.
