About 25 kilometres from Bad Flinsberg lies the Polish Mecca of cross-country skiing: the Jakuszyce plateau is one of the largest and most popular cross-country skiing regions in Central Europe. Fans of cross-country skiing meet in the Szklarska Poreba-Jakuszyce region. Over 150 kilometres of perfectly groomed cross-country trails await here, some of which even have the highest FIS classification.
From Bad Flinsberg, a 10 km cross-country trail runs from Heufuder via the Orle ski station to Jakuszyce, thus connecting the Jizera Mountains with the Giant Mountains. The routes are signposted accordingly.
