Cross-country skiing in the Zermatt area is rather limited. However, there is a 15-kilometre trail from Täsch to Randa through the idyllic winter landscape. The "Furi-Schweigmatten" high altitude cross-country ski trail is located at an altitude of 1,864 metres and offers fantastic views of the surrounding mountain scenery.
