Thyon
Thyon is a district of the municipality of Vex, which lies in the French-speaking canton of Valais in Switzerland. Thyon is located at an altitude between 1,500 m and 2,100 m on the western slope of the Val d'Hérémence and is especially popular among nature lovers. The surrounding idyllic Thyon-Région is made us of the municipalities of Hérémence and Vex and stretches from the plain of the Rhône (600 m) to the Mont-Blanc de Cheilon (3,870 m). The famous 4 Vallées are undoubtedly one of the highlights in the life of a winter sports enthusiast. They offer 412 km of slopes and ski routes, over 300 km of which are medium to steep. The "Four Valleys" are also a paradise for deep snow fans. At the centre lies the 3,330-metre-high Mont Fort, also known as the "summit of pleasure".
