Ski area Wildhaus

With the "Wildhaus" lift pass, you have access to a total of 23 km of piste and 8 modern lifts. The family-friendly Wildhaus ski area is comprised of dreamy runs on the Gamserrugg (2,076 m). Easier runs can be found around the middle stations, while more advanced skiers can make their way to the narrower, more demanding "Gamserugg Ostabfahrt" eastern run.

The "Snowland.ch" snowpark and the newly designed fun slope draws in snowboarders and freestylers as well. The idyllic natural landscape also provides you with enchanting winter hiking trails that lead through heavily-snowed wintry panoramas, thus providing a wide selection of opportunities for snowshoe hikers.

Après ski Wildhaus

In the little village of Unterwasser, après ski tends to be on the rather quiet side of things. The Oberdorf mountain restaurant offers you a great viewing point to take in the dreamy mountainscape whilst enjoying a warm drink from a lounge chair. Those who prefer to spend their time a little more cosy and social can stroll into one of the little cafes and restaurants with culinary specialities and treat themselves to something special to round off their day of skiing.

The 3.5 km long toboggan run in Unterwasser is a popular meeting point for guests who still want a little action after their day on the piste. Relaxation can be found off piste, on one of the in total 18,5 km winter hiking trails, which take you through the enchanting wintry surroundings. The panoramic trail, Rosenboden, or the Toggenburg Sagenweg trail are definitely worth mentioning.

For children, an exciting winter playground can be found at the Iltios mountain station, where snowmen can be built or other wintry activities can take place.

Snowpark Wildhaus: Snowpark Snowland.ch

For snowboarders and fun-lovers, the Wildhaus ski area is quite well-known. How did it get it's reputation, though? Well, that's easy: the "Snowland" on the Ferienalp in Wildhaus is responsible for that! Winter sports fans of all experience levels will be drawn in by this professional fun park, with its 20 diverse obstacles spread out over two sectors, "Beginner" and "Advanced." Differing boxes (e.g. rainbow, straight, and eleven kinked boxes), rails and rides leave no wish unfulfilled.

However, "Snowland" highest priority is more about the perfect atmosphere and not the measurement of skills! There's no competition between snowboards and free skiers here, but rather a familiar feeling, diverse events like grill evenings and football bets as well as music fitting the environment. Moreover, the park's motto "We care - You care!" stands for its speciality in being environmentally friendly!
