Ski holidays Gerlos/Königsleiten - transnational centre of the Zillertal Arena!

The Gerlos-Königsleiten region is located in the Gerlos Valley, a side valley of the famous Zillertal Valley. To the east, the region extends beyond the border between the provinces of Tyrol and Salzburg, with the centre of Königsleiten already lying on Salzburg soil. The famous Gerlos Pass, at over 1,500 metres above sea level, also crosses the provincial border. The ski lifts in Gerlos and Königsleiten, as well as the Gerlosplatte-Hochkrimml family ski area, all belong to the Zillertal Arena, the largest lift network in the Zillertal valley with around 150 kilometres of pistes. Thanks to 52 lifts, seamless skiing pleasure is possible in two federal states from Zell am Ziller to Hochkrimml.

Gerlos is located at an altitude of 1,247 metres in the middle of the Zillertal Arena. The mountain village is particularly well known for its après-ski opportunities and is in no way inferior to its famous neighbours Mayrhofen and Zell am Ziller. Numerous bars, discos and ski huts invite you to stop for a bite to eat. But the ski resort has more to offer than just lifts and slopes: with its varied sports and leisure activities such as …

Krimml

The idyllic village of Krimml lies at an altitude of 1,067 metres at the end of the Gerlos Valley. Unlike Gerlos and Zell, Krimml is located in Oberpinzgau and thus in the Salzburg region rather than in Tyrol. The village captivates visitors with its unspoilt nature and excellent skiing opportunities. Fantastic slopes, modern lifts and idyllic winter hiking trails make a skiing holiday here a thoroughly fulfilling experience. Krimml is …

Königsleiten

The romantically situated mountain village of Königsleiten is not a part of Tirol, as Gerlos and Zell are, but rather a part of Salzburger Land. At 1,600 m, Königsleiten is the highest village in the Ziller Valley Arena, and provides especially quick entrance to the ski area. Fun pistes, après ski and cosy mountain lodges make this village especially appealing. Those simply seeking a bit of relaxation will not feel left out. Because whether …
