Cross-country skiing in the Zillertal Arena - a breathtaking natural experience in the midst of the fascinating mountain world of the Zillertal and Pinzgau. Whether skating or classic - there is something for everyone on the numerous trails in the towns of Zell am Ziller, Gerlos, Wald-Königsleiten and Krimml-Hochkrimml. The high-altitude cross-country ski trail in Hochkrimml is a special treat. In a romantic location at 1,640 metres above sea level, you can set off on your cross-country skis directly from your accommodation and enjoy the wonderful natural surroundings. In Gerlos you can even experience the winter landscape at night, as 1.5 kilometres of the Schönachtal trail are floodlit from 17:00 - 22:00.
