More relaxed skiing days away from the hustle and bustle of winter await in Grebenzen (12.2 kilometres of slopes) near St. Lambrecht and at Klippitztörl (28 kilometres of slopes). In the traditional Präbichl ski area, skiing enthusiasts can expect not only an impressive Carinthian mountain panorama, but also varied descents. And those who prefer a more leisurely pace can enjoy a family atmosphere and clearly laid-out slopes that are ideal for beginners and children in smaller ski resorts such as Bürgeralpe Mariazell, Brunnalm – Hohen Veitsch, Schwabenbergarena Turnau, Salzstiegl or Krakau (Tockneralm) with the Mur-Mürz Top SkiPass. The regional ski hills of Obdach, Kleinlobming and Gaal are also particularly charming as part of the ski region. They score points with well-groomed slopes, fair prices and plenty of peace and quiet, which also makes them perfect for first turns in the snow or relaxing days with the family.
Many ski resorts that are members of the Mur-Mürz Top SkiPass also offer separate practice areas, ski schools and children's facilities. For freestyle fans, there are snow parks with kickers, boxes and other cool obstacles at Turracher Höhe, Kreischberg and Stuhleck, among other places. Cross-country skiing enthusiasts are not left out either, as there are numerous perfectly groomed trails around the ski resorts in Carinthia that lead through quiet forests, across sunny alpine pastures or directly through the ski resorts. And in addition, illuminated slopes, for example in Gaal, Turnau or Kleinlobming, ensure night-time skiing fun!
