Cross-country skiers will find suitable tracks in both the resort, but also on the Tauplitzalm. On a total of 26 km of trails, there is something for everyone. The "Lärchenwald" trail offers the possibility to try out an Olympic training track. Nordic skiers, who decide for the trail on the Tauplitzalm, can enjoy skiing at 1,700 m altitude.
The ski area Bad Mitterndorf/Tauplitz has an excellent network of trails to offer. This region is popular with Nordic skiers and the network comprises a total of 165 km of trails, yet with only little difference in altitude, all located between Bad Mitterndorf and Tauplitz.
The trail network of Tauplitz has been awarded with the Styrian Cross-country trail Quality Seal.
