Cross-country Zillertal

Several attractive cross-country trails run through the approximately 40 km long Zillertal valley. With a total length of 125 km, the well-maintained network of trails ensures cross-country skiing enjoyment in the valley.

With a total of 53 kilometres of trails, the first holiday region in the Zillertal between Fügen, Kaltenbach, Strass, Stumm and Uderns is a fantastic cross-country skiing area for Nordic athletes. Along the tracks of the Zillertalbahn railway and the riverbed of the Ziller, the 10 km long promenade trail between Kaltenbach and Aschau is particularly recommended.

Even experienced cross-country skiers will find what they are looking for in the Zillertal: a challenging 9 km high-altitude trail awaits at Hochfügen, and there are also great panoramic trails in Tux in the rear Zillertal. In Uderns, a floodlit trail offers the opportunity to enjoy a few laps on your skis in the evening.

One thing is certain: the Zillertal has the right trail for every cross-country skier.
