14 km Cross-country trails (in km):

The Kriegwald cross-country skiing area is about 5.5 km from the Hainberg ski lift and is located north of Rübenau. The Rübenau cross- country skiing trail covers approx. 14 km and 114 metres in altitude. The cross-country ski trails around Olbernhau (Kühnhaide, Pobershau and the Rätzteich area near Marienberg) merge, thereby forming one of the largest connected cross-country ski trail areas in the Ore Mountains.
