Cross-country Engadin

The Engadin-St. Moritz cross-country skiing network comprises around 240 km of the finest trails to suit every requirement. The diverse landscape around St. Moritz and its neighbours Pontresina, Silvaplana, Celerina, Samedan and further north Bevers, Zuoz and S-chanf forms a fantastic cross-country skiing region. Whether classic or skating, everything is available from narrow tracks to wide trails. Dog trails, night trails and high-altitude trails can also be found here.

The Engadin is also home to what are probably the 42 most famous kilometres of cross-country trails: the route of the Great Engadin Ski Marathon between Maloja and S-chanf. With over 13,000 participants, the "Engadiner" is one of the largest Nordic events worldwide and one of the most important cross-country skiing events of the year. The marathon trail is also one of the region's most attractive "event trails", along with "La Diagonela". It runs as a classic track along the Inn and across the frozen Lake St. Moritz. One thing is certain: the Engadin is one of the most attractive cross-country skiing areas in Switzerland!
