Cross-country Bernau im Schwarzwald

Cross-country skiing has a long tradition in the Black Forest, so there are plenty of opportunities to burn off some energy here. Bernau has a well-maintained cross-country skiing centre that offers courses for beginners and advanced cross-country skiers. There are around 65 kilometres of cross-country trails in the surrounding area, spread over nine trails. Seven of these trails start directly at the cross-country skiing centre.

Beginners can practice on the 500 m long training trail in classic-style or skating-style. The 2.5 km Taubenmoos cross-country trail with open and forest sections is also easy. The 2.7 km long Hof cross-country trail, which starts in the accommodation district, and the 4 km long Lehen cross-country trail, which starts in the Innerlehen district, are also suitable for beginners. The sunny Hexenbühl trail (3.5 km), the Rechberg trail (5.5 km), the Oren trail (6 km) and the Langhalden trail (11 km) are a little more difficult. There is even a 3.5 km long FIS trail for demanding skiers.
