Cross-country Saastal

The Saas Valley is a cross-country skier's paradise. This is not only due to the varied 32 km of trails available here, but also to the impressive mountain landscape with 4,000-metre peaks surrounding the trail network. In addition to the 26 km of classic cross-country trails, up to 12 km of skating trails are available in good snow conditions. Access to the trails costs around CHF 6 per day or CHF 20 for a weekly pass. The advantage of the 26 km long Saastal trail is that there are several bus stops along the route, making it possible to ski only part of the trail. For those who like to aim high, we recommend the 6 km long, free-to-use high-altitude trail in Saas-Fee. The fantastic mountain panorama makes it well worth the 154 m difference in altitude.
