Ski holidays Saastal - the pearl of the Alps!

Framed by 18 four-thousand-metre peaks, the panorama of the Saas Valley is absolutely stunning! The lifts reach up to 3,573 m and open up a panorama of pistes with 146 km of all levels of difficulty. The famous "Metro Alpin", the highest underground funicular in the world, takes you under the glacier to the Mittelallalin, where a magnificent mountain backdrop awaits you. The ski area is also extremely attractive for international guests, as the Allalin Race, for example, takes place here. It is held at the end of the season and is the longest downhill race in the world, from 3,573 m down to the village at 1,800 m!

The four villages at the foot of the pistes are well connected by bus so that you can make the most of your ski day. Each village has its own flair: there are family-friendly and down-to-earth villages with cosy Valais chalet-style houses, or villages characterised by lively après-ski. You will find variety here in any case!

Due to its altitude at 1,600 m, the snow conditions are ideal. You can start into the ski area of Saas-Almagell with 15.5 km of piste directly from the resort. From the …

Saas-Fee

The run through the Saas Valley, with its deep ravines and steep mountain slopes, is very impressive. In the heart of the highest mountains in the Swiss Alps, the road winds up to the resort entrance at 1,800 m. Here you have to leave your own car behind and travel with the free local bus, an electric car or on foot to the resort. The former mountain farmer village at the foot of the “Dom” (4,545 m) has developed into a lively and yet …

Saas Grund

In the middle of the Saas Valley, Saas-Grund (1,559 m) is the more quiet version of Saas-Fee three kilometres away. The village has kept its Valaisian charme until today. The diverse entertainment possibilities make sure that you don't get bored - sports, cultures, party, in Saas-Grund everyone finds something for them. Especially ski and snowboard fans will appreciate the village's two gondolas which lead directly into the sunny glacier ski …
